The Duke University Captain’s chair is environmentally friendly and made from sustainable wood and comes with a laser etched Duke graphic on the front crown. If you call yourself a true Duke University fan, this chair is a perfect addition to your home!

Construction
• Made from eco-friendly, sustainable Malaysian Oak or Parawood. This is a medium density hardwood obtained from the rubber tree. After 20-25 years, when all the latex/rubber has been extracted from the wood, the tree is cut down and a new tree is planted. Therefore, it is considered an environmentally friendly or sustainable wood. The wood is now used extensively in making indoor furniture.
